Green, green, green - 1

Today it is midsummer day. All is quiet and peaceful. I think many are gone. Of course it started raining yesterday – it almost always does that on Midsummer's Eve. It has been raining almost all night and this morning it was so green that it just may be after a real rain in the summer. I walked around in the garden and looked at everything that was so green.

A tree can hide many secrets, such as another nest of Mrs Blackbird. I haven't seen her in a few days so I really hope nothing has happened to her.
Something strange bubbling white – think it is something “snail-ish”. Just looked very goofy.
The Woodpecker have placed their kids in the green trees and this little kid had trouble staying firm at the branches. They are too cute.

I myself was inspired to patch pieces of fabric together but also to embroider in green. Whatever it is, be my little secret until tomorrow. Have a nice evening!

  1. Green is my favourite colour, Lotta. Waiting patiently to see what wonderful thing you have created now. (Love your little woodpecker birds by the way.)

  2. Thanks Pam. The woodpecker is so cute, but I am so scared something happened to it. Yesterday my husband found loads of white feathers at the bird feeder. We don't know which bird......

  3. Oh I know how you feel. We have a lot of different birds come into our garden and we too found a pile of white feathers one day. Never did find out whose they were, but never found any more "evidence" either. A lot of Australian birds are black and white, so there were lots of possibilities for the "victim". We adore watching our birds.
